The reverse osmosis technique (RO) technique is best to clean up the water infections – assuming that RO got started in every home. But in these years the RO system could not overcome its own possessions. It is always making doubts on RO technology that it also eliminates essential minerals like calcium and magnesium from water. At the same time, this technique was also being questioned for the waste in the process of cleaning the water. RO water sinks up to 80 percent of the waste to clean water.

However, the Delhi Jal Board clarified the decision immediately after the verdict that there is no defect in the water supply we have, so we went to some houses and tried to understand how they decide that the water they are drinking 100 percent is correct. Do they get this trust from RO i.e. from the water test –

It is clear that the water is tasteless, odorless and colorless, then it is the right and clean water. Some people use the water being ruined by RO for plants, for some cleanliness and many people allow this water to flow. In the world facing the water crisis, it is imperative to question the technique that is wasting daily water. Now, in the fresh order of NGT, the fact is that the RO is not necessary to clean every water.

NGO Friends had told the NGT in a petition that water purified from RO in the cleanliness of the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium in Delhi is being used. After this the case got caught and the NGT questioned the need of RO. The need for RO was also raised in the same court in 2018. The National Green Tribunal i.e. the NGT directed the Environment Ministry, where TDS is less than 500 mg per liter in water, use the RO on the use of RO and also alert the people about demineralized water damage. The NGT has given the Ministry one month’s time to issue notification.

It has also been said that 60 to 75 percent of the water wasted from RO should be recovered and used in the works like washing cleaning. It was also asked to give instructions to the ministry to conduct research on the quality of water supplied by ro. Water boards were instructed to inform the public from time to time about water erosion. RO manufacturers have been advised to write on the product that RO should be used only if the amount of TDS in water is above 500.

The members of the Water Quality Indian Association presented as representative of RO companies argued that there are 98 districts of 13 states in the country where water can be made potable with RO technology. But they also believed that 80 percent water was wasted in the process of purifying water and 20 percent saved only to drink.

Now tell you what is RO water ie D-mineralized water, after water is passed through processes like distillation, D-ionization and membrane filtration, the water becomes free from mineral. Various techniques such as nano filtration and electrodialysis are not very mineral in the water released by RO or reverse osmosis technique.

After conducting a study for 10 years in 1970, the World Health Organization in 1980 also considered mineral free water as harmful. Here the WHO considers the quality of drinking water with TDS less than 300 mg per liter as the best quality.

Water by Ayurveda:

Drinking water is also defined in the Vedas. According to the Rigveda, the water should be cool, ie Sushini i.e. clean and sevi means that it should have essential mineral salts and water should be transparent. Water Vimalam should be with blood sudgunam i.e. limited quantity of acid base. This does not necessarily mean that the water supplied by the tap in every house can purify the RO.
