Delegate/Alternate RNC Hotel Assignments; Upcoming Informational Ronvoy Conference Call

Regarding the Ronvoy schedule:

When we originally were recruited by Paul Festival to coordinate the Ronvoys and lodging for attendees of Paul Fest, we did not realize the number of individuals who would also want to stay for the duration of the convention. MANY people have told us that if they are going to Tampa, they plan to stay there and make some noise.

WE LOVE THAT IDEA! However, the Ronvoy rates, as they are currently on the Ronvoy site, were determined based upon departing for home after the Veterans for Ron Paul march was finished on Monday, August 27th.

SOOOOOO...we are in the process of revamping the entire Travel & Lodging page here at the Paul Festival website. Please bear with us. We want to ensure that people who CAN stay for the entire convention are going to be able to, and we want everyone to have all of the correct information in order to be able to make that decision, and start making their plans.  We will have the extended Ronvoy rates posted as quickly as possible.

Note that we WILL also have vehicles for those who cannot stay for the entire duration of the convention, and those vehicles will depart from Tampa following the Veterans for Ron Paul march on Monday, August 27th.  The rate for those who will depart on Monday are the rates currently posted on the Ronvoy site.

DELEGATES AND ALTERNATES TO THE RNC:

We are so proud of you guys for becoming Delegates and Alternates and for participating in your own self-government!  It has been amazing just to watch everything you have accomplished at the District and State levels.  We want to do everything we can to assist you in your participation at the National level in Tampa!

• The COA released the list of RNC-assigned hotels in Tampa for the State Delegations.  You can view this list HERE.
• STAY ON TOP OF YOUR STATE GOP PEOPLE. They are supposed to be emailing you a link to access the info to book your RNC-assigned delegation hotel room in Tampa for the convention.  This will give you the opportunity to see the nightly rate for the room the RNC has booked for your State's delegation.  You are NOT required to stay with your State delegation.
• Encourage your local meetup group members to donate to Sponsor a Delegate to the RNC.

AT THE SAME TIME, the travel team is in the process of booking room blocks in Tampa.  As soon as we have the information compiled for the revamped Travel & Lodging section, we will have this information up and available for individuals to begin booking their travel and/or lodging for Tampa.  We can't wait to see everyone there!
