Great Low Lodging Rates will Make the Gold Standard Ronvoy Rates SUPER AWESOME!!

Hey guys!  It's me, Susan Wolfe, and I have some pretty incredible news!  We just booked 100 rooms at Motel 6's in and around Tampa!  And the really cool amazing part is, FIFTY-TWO of those rooms are only SEVEN miles from the Convention Center!  This will give hundreds of our Delegates, Alternates and Supporters an inexpensive way to stay in Tampa for the seven nights of Paul Festival and the RNC!  The lowest rate, at the Motel 6 ~ Lakeland, which is about 30 miles northeast of Tampa, is just $260 for one person, or if four people share a double room, just $70 bucks per person, INCLUDING tax, for SEVEN NIGHTS!!

The travel team is working extra hard this weekend to finalize ALL the individual State "Gold Standard Package" rates.  These will include round-trip Ronvoy transportation, either campground or hotel lodging, the Weekend Pass to Paul Festival and in-town transportation in Tampa to all the exciting events (or for Delegates & Alternates, transportation to the RNC, which will probably be the most exciting event of all)!  So everyone who's planning to stay in Tampa for the Paul Festival weekend AND for the duration of the RNC, keep your eye out on the Travel & Lodging section for updates!!

IF you are staying in Tampa for Paul Fest ONLY, and you plan to return home following the Veteran's for Ron Paul march on Monday, August 27th, register for your Ronvoy transportation-only at the National Ronvoy to Paul Festival site.  We are also working on Gold Standard Packages for you guys, so stay tuned for those!  For questions about how the National Ronvoys work, please visit our FAQ page.

Massachusetts RNC delegates.. do not sign any affidavit!

I posted last night a letter that has gone out reportedly to Massachusetts delegates requiring that they sign an affidavit stating that they will vote for Romney at the RNC or risk "the pain and penalty of perjury." This is a VERY serious issue. Massachusetts delegates need not take this lightly. I was emailed these quotes by Alison Wright. These are comments by Jerry Davis at Lawyers for Ron Paul:

"1. "It IS ILLEGAL TO FORCE ANYONE TO VOTE ANY CERTAIN WAY...PERIOD!!!!"

2. "ALL of the 'binding' IS under civil constitutional law....VERIFIABLY...ILLEGAL."

3. "We are not even going the rule 38 route, ANY means of manipulating a vote, whether by proxy or by unit, is illegal."

4. "The RNC's use of these rules in their very nature, are illegal, but no-one has brought this to the table yet."VOTE ANY CERTAIN WAY...PERIOD!!!! ALL of the "binding" IS under civil constitutional law....VERIFIABLY...ILLEGAL."

If, like the mainstream media, you feel that there is no hope of Dr. Paul winning the GOP nomination, it is because God is about to show the world a miracle to glorify His name.  All the other candidates felt that they were called upon by God himself to run for this office - He is about to show you who He REALLY wants to win this office.  Have faith and you will move mountains.

Regarding the Ronvoy schedule:

When we originally were recruited by Paul Festival to coordinate the Ronvoys and lodging for attendees of Paul Fest, we did not realize the number of individuals who would also want to stay for the duration of the convention. MANY people have told us that if they are going to Tampa, they plan to stay there and make some noise.

One of the reasons we are holding this event is to invite all the delegates, especially the 521 unbound delegates, but also any national delegates who may potentially become unbound after the first round of voting. As you know many of the Ron Paul delegates are new to the delegate process, and we want the Paul Festival to be an opportunity to get together, mingle and discuss their experience before they get cordoned off at the GOP convention. We also plan to create a forum dedicated to delegates so that they can exchange contact information, share photos, collaborate, etc. well before the event. By working together, we hope to maximize their effectiveness at converting non-RP delegates to join us in the event of a brokered convention (which is becoming increasingly likely with each passing day!).
